Henan Xinjinhui Stainless Steel Industry Co Ltd (河南鑫金汇不锈钢产业有限公司), also known as Henan Qingshan Jinhui Stainless Steel Industry Co., Ltd., is a blast furnace (BF) and electric arc furnace (EAF) steel plant operating in Changge, Henan, China.

Background
In 2007, the company partnered with POSCO, a Fortune Global 500 enterprise, to jointly invest 150 million RMB and establish Qingpu Alloy Materials Co., Ltd. Qingpu Alloy operates two 380m³ ironmaking blast furnaces but has long mislabeled them as ferroalloy blast furnaces to deliberately avoid acknowledging their true nature as ironmaking blast furnaces. As a result, the company has failed to decommission them as required and has continued production in violation of regulations.[1][2]
On September 6th 2023, the Henan Jinhui Industrial Group held a project groundbreaking ceremony, marking the planned construction of a 2 million-ton scrap steel electric furnace and a short-process steelmaking workshop, expected to be completed within 5 years.[3]
