Hoa Phat Dung Quat steel plant (Công ty CP Thép Hòa Phát Dung Quất, Tuyển Dụng Thép Hòa Phát Dung Quất), also known as Hefa Rongju Plant, is a steel plant in Dung Quat Economic Zone, Quang Ngai, Vietnam that operates blast furnace (BF) and basic oxygen furnace (BOF) technology.

Background

The Hoa Phat Dung Quat steel plant began its operations in 2017.[1] In 2023, the group will focus on implementing the Hoa Phat Dung Quat 2 Iron and Steel Production Complex project. The project is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2025, increasing the crude steel capacity to more than 14 mtpa.[2]
