Background

According to the announcement of the capacity replacement plan in December 2021, the company planned to build a 100-tonne basic oxygen furnace and a 100-tonne electric arc furnace.[1] In September 2022, the capacity replacement plan was adjusted. The company planned to build a 120-ton basic oxygen furnace and a 100-tonne electric arc furnace to replace three 80-ton basic oxygen furnaces.[2] In April 2023, the capacity swap plan changed to build a 100-ton basic oxygen furnace to replace two 80-ton basic oxygen furnaces.[3]
