The pipeline is proposed to run North to South from the southern tip of Italy, up to Austria, and will parallel existing natural gas infrastructure. The project consists of both newly built hydrogen pipelines, and converted hydrogen pipelines. [2]

The route from the project is derived from the H2inframap, which displays a collection of hydrogen-related projects across Europe.[1]
