JFE Sendai Works steel plant (仙台製造所) is a steel plant in Sendai, Miyagi, Japan that operates electric arc furnace (EAF) technology.

Background
The construction of the plant began in May 1973 and began operating in 1974.[1] The plant currently operates a 130 tonne Ecoarc EAF which began operation in 2008.[2] The company plans to upgrade its EAF as part of its low-carbon processes.[3]
