Background
The company announced to build of a blast furnace (1250m3) in June 2019.[1]
Jiangsu Binxin Steel Group Co., Ltd. has repeatedly started construction and production without obtaining legally required approvals for the environmental impact assessment reports of their construction projects. In April 2023[2] and November 2020, the company was fined millions of yuan for these violations. Additionally, the company received two penalties from the Gan Yu District Ecological Environment Bureau in 2019 for environmental violations.[3]
