KISCO steel Changwon plant (한국철강), also known as Korea Steel Co., Ltd., Korea Iron & Steel, Dongkuk Steel Mill Changwon (predecessor), is a steel plant in Changwon, South Gyeongsang, South Korea that operates electric arc furnace (EAF) technology.

Background
Korea Iron & Steel Co Ltd was established in 1957.[1] The plant houses three electric arc furnaces with a total production capacity of 3000 ttpa.[2][3]
In April 2020, it was reported that KISCO planned to stop production of forged products and to sell related production equipment including forging presses and a 70 ton electric arc furnace.[4] As of January 2025, there have been no updates regarding the same.
