Background
Built in two phases, this pipeline carries imported natural gas from Northern Macedonia to its southern regions. Receiving gas from the Skopje-Kriva Palanka Gas Pipeline, it connects to a compressor station at the city of Stip before passing through to Negotino. The first phase (Klechovce-Stip) was commissioned in 2016, while the second phase was commissioned in 2019.[3]
