Background

Kyoei Iron Ltd was established in 1947. The name of the company was changed to Kyoei Steel Ltd in 1948. The Tsukuda Mill, now Osaka Mill of Hirakara Division was established in 1962 as Kyoei Steel's first electric furnace mill.[1]
