Kyoei Steel Hirakata Division (Osaka) (共栄製鋼枚方事業所), also known as Tsukuda factory (formerly), is a steel plant in Hirakata, Osaka, Japan that operates electric arc furnace (EAF) technology.

Background
Kyoei Iron Ltd was established in 1947. The name of the company was changed to Kyoei Steel Ltd in 1948. The Tsukuda Mill, now Osaka Mill of Hirakara Division was established in 1962 as Kyoei Steel's first electric furnace mill.[1] As part of the company's carbon neutrality initiatives, solar power generation was initiated on the new warehouse roof at Hirakata Division.[2]
