Background
Kyoei Iron Ltd was established in 1947. The name of the company was changed to Kyoei Steel Ltd in 1948. In 1972, Yamaguchi Kyoei Industries Ltd. (now Yamaguchi Division) was established in Onoda City (now Sanyo Onoda City), Yamaguchi Prefecture.[1] The plant operates a 50 ton AC electric arc furnace.[2]
