Background

The pipeline was to be operated by GTCL, a subsidiary of Petrobangla.[1] The project was earlier listed as two future development projects: Langalbandh-Mawa-Gopalganj-Khulna Transmission Pipeline and Khulna-Gopalgonj-Tekerhat Gas Transmission Pipeline [7][8]
