Lianfeng Steel Zhangjiagang Co Ltd (联峰钢铁(张家港)有限公司) is a steel plant in Nanfeng, Zhangjiagang, Suzhou, Jiangsu, China that operates blast furnace (BF), basic oxygen furnace (BOF), and electric arc furnace (EAF) technology.

Background

According to the production capacity swap announcement in December 2020, the company plans to build three 1320m³ blast furnace (Implemented in three phases, new #1 #2 #3 orderly), and dismantle four 500m³ blast furnace, two 600m³ blast furnace, and one 700m³ blast furnace.[1] The new #1 blast furnace started to operate in March 2022.[2] The new #2 blast furnace started to operate in March 2024.[3]

According to the environmental impact statement in September 2022, the company plans to build a 170-tonne BOF, and dismantle three 50-tonne BOF.[4]
