Long Son Phu My Iron and Steel plant is an electric arc furnace (EAF) announced steel plant in Hoai Nhon town, Binh Dinh, Vietnam.

Background

In November 2022, Vietnam’s Binh Dinh Province gave approval for Long Son Phu My Iron & Steel Company’s steel complex project. The Project involves an investment of VND 53.5 trillion ($2.14 billion) to set up an overall steel capacity of 5.4 mtpa. The project will be developed in three phases. The first phase of the project is expected to be completed in 2024.[1]
