Background

In November 2022, Vietnam’s Binh Dinh Province gave approval for Long Son Phu My Iron & Steel Company’s steel complex project. The Project involves an investment of VND 53.5 trillion ($2.14 billion) to set up an overall steel capacity of 5.4 mtpa. The project will be developed in three phases. The first phase of the project is expected to be completed in 2024.
