Mass Iron and Steel Industry Co Sulaimaniya plant (شرکات مجموعة ماس, مصنع حديد وصلب ماس), also known as Mass Iron and Steel Industry Co., Mass Global Investment Group Bazyan steel plant, Master Steel Factory, is a steel plant in Sulaimaniya, Kurdistan, Iraq that operates direct reduced iron (DRI) and electric arc furnace (EAF) technology.

Background

The Mass Iron and Steel Industry plant started operating in 2015. In 2022, an explosion took place at the plant that injured 13 workers. [1]
