Background
The pipeline is part of the Lithuanian national gas transmission system, which is operated by AB Amber Grid and is interconnected with the natural gas transmission systems of Latvia, Belarus, and the Kaliningrad Region of Russia. It is also connected to the Klaipeda LNG Terminal and distribution systems.[1]
