Background
The Mitsui-Kobe Duqm DRI plant aim to produce 5000 ttpa of DRI using MIDREX technologies. The plant aims to start production in 2027. Future plans include enhancing decarbonization by replacing methane with hydrogen while also increasing production capacity.[1]
