Background

Mughal Steels began as a small production unit in Lahore, Pakistan called "Al-Bashir Steel Industries (Private) Limited" in 1958. Mughal steel was established in 1998. Mughal Steel imported and established teo induction furnaces in 1999.[1] As of January 2025, the facility has a melting capacity of 590 thousand tonnes per annum.[2]
