Nakayama Steel Products Osaka plant (中山鋼業株式会社 (Japanese)) is an electric arc furnace (EAF) steel plant operating in Osaka, Kansai, Japan.

Background

Nakayama Steel Industry Co., Ltd was established in 1950.[1] The company installed an Elu type electric arc furnace at the Osaka plant in 1956. The company consolidated its Mikuni factory at the Dekishima factory in 1960, which was was renamed to Osaka factory in 1966. A new 50ton electric furnace was installed in 1972. In 2018, the company introduced an EcoArc-Light EAF at the plant.[2]
