Nilachal Iron & Power Gamharia Steel Plant, also known as NIPL, is a direct reduced iron (DRI) steel plant operating in Saraikela-Kharsawan, Jharkhand, India.

Background
Nilachal Iron & Power Limited was incorporated in 2002 and started with one DRI Kiln of 350 tpd capacity.[1] The plant currently produces sponge iron using three DRI kilns and is undergoing expansions into an integrated steel plant to produce 700 ttpa crude steel, expected to be completed by June 2022.[1]
