  • Location: Vyksa, Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, Russia
  • Coordinates (WGS 84): 55.323946, 42.150702 (approximate)

Background

As of October 2024, the construction is in progress. At the beginning of 2022, Danieli (Italy) and Primetals Technologies (Austria) were mentioned as equipment providers for the project. It was mentioned in the media that the representatives and branches of these companies continued to operate in Russia, and no information about their withdrawal from the project had been found. The main consumer of the products manufactured at the enterprise will be the structures of the United Metallurgical Company (OMK). For example, the OMK Vyksa Casting and Rolling Complex, will produce large-diameter pipes and railway wheels from thick slabs manufactured at the new enterprise.[1]
