Project details

Background

This is an existing pipeline that has been in operation since before the formation of Gazprom. In Gazprom's documents, the route appears to run parallel to that of the Sakhalin-Khabarovsk-Vladivostok Gas Pipeline, turning off to go north toward Okha once on Sakhalin.[2]

The pipeline is to be decommissioned in 2025.[1] In 2023, the consumers will be switched to the Sakhalin-Khabarovsk-Vladivostok Gas Pipeline.[6][7]
