SeAH Besteel Gunsan steel plant (세아베스틸군산공장), also known as Kia Special Steel Co. Ltd (predecessor), Gunsan special steel plant, is a steel plant in Gunsan, North Jeolla, South Korea that operates electric arc furnace (EAF) technology.

Background
The plant was founded as Daehan Heavy Machinery in 1955. The Gunsan plant was established in 1997.[1] Steel from SeAH Besteel Gunsan is finished at Changnyeong Plant (635-940 100, Daehapsaneopdanji-ro, Daehap-myeon, Changnyeong-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do, Republic of Korea).[2] The plant was acquired by SeAH Holdings in December 2003 and renamed as SeAH Besteel.[3]
Carbon Neutrality by 2050
As part of its decarbonisation strategy, the company plans to reduce emissions by 12% by 2030 and to zero by 2050 from 2018 levels.[4]
