Background

According to the announcement of the capacity replacement plan in December 2019, the company planned to build two 100-ton basic oxygen furnaces and eliminate four 60-tonne basic oxygen furnaces.^[1]According to the capacity replacement plan in January 2022, the company planned to build a 135-tonne electric arc furnace to replace a 94-tonne basic oxygen furnace and a 1280m3 blast furnace.^[2]
