Background
On December 29, 2019, Shandong Steel Group Rizhao Company and Shandong Minyuan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. signed a cooperation agreement on the transfer of steel production capacity indicators. According to the agreement, Shandong Minyuan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. will transfer its steel production capacity indicators, including 1.19 million tons of pig iron and 1.7 million tons of crude steel, to Rizhao Company.[1]
Shandong Minyuan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. was closed in October 2022[2]
