Background
The Shanghai LNG station line expansion project is located in the Yangshan Deepwater Port Area of Shanghai International Shipping Center, with a total investment of 16.9 billion yuan and a construction period of 2022-2029. It mainly consists of three parts: wharf, receiving station and Export Pipeline.This project is of great significance for strengthening Shanghai’s gas supply security, optimizing the energy consumption structure, and improving the overall natural gas security capability of the Yangtze River Delta region.[1] The project is included in the "List of Major Construction Projects in Shanghai in 2023".[4]
