Tangshan Stainless Steel Co Ltd (唐山不锈钢有限责任公司(曹妃甸)) is a steel plant in Tangshan, Hebei, China that operates blast furnace (BF) and basic oxygen furnace (BOF) technology.

Background
On July 19, 2019, the working group for strengthening supervision and designated assistance in key areas, which is part of the Blue Sky Defense War launched by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, has found that the company had problems such as incomplete implementation of production shutdown measures, poor operation stability of online monitoring equipment, and unimproved tripartite operation and maintenance records. It is now included in the list of steel standard enterprises to be rectified and reformed.[1]
The company plans to decommission 2 * 450 m3 blast furnaces, 2 * 550 m3 blast furnaces, 1 * 80-ton BOF, and 2 * 100-ton BOF, and relocate them to Caofeidian and construct 1*2400 m3 BF and 1* 120-ton BOF. The relocation has already taken place, but the facilities are currently in a state of shutdown.[2][3]
The announcement regarding the company's relocation and construction project capacity replacement plan has been officially revoked.[4]
