Tianjin Port Huaneng Coal Terminal is at the Port of Tianjin, on the western shore of the Bohai Bay in the People's Republic of China.
Also at the Port of Tianjin is the Shenhua Tianjin Coal Terminal.
Location
The Port of Tianjin is located on the western shore of the Bohai Bay, in the estuary of the Haihe River, 170km south east of Beijing and 60km east of Tianjin city.
Background
The port is in the Nanjiang port area of the Port of Tianjin.[1][2] It has an annual coal capacity of 43 million tonnes per annum.[3] Built by the Tianjin Port Company, it was financed partly by capital expenditures as well as loans, which were paid off in 2013.[4]
