The Trans-Panama Gateway Pipeline project is a proposed gas pipeline which would run between the Atlantic and Pacific coasts of Panama.

Location

The proposed pipeline would begin from a terminal on the Pacific side of Panama and end of the Atlantic side.

Background

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed in July 2021 between the Republic of Panama and the Dallas, Texas based Energy Transfer LP to study the feasibility of joint participation on the proposed pipeline project.
