Ulanqab-Yanshan Petrochemical Hydrogen Pipeline 乌兰察布-燕山石化氢气管道 is a proposed hydrogen pipeline in China.[1]
Location
The pipeline is proposed to run from Ulanqab, Inner Mongolia to Yanshan Petrochemical Company, Fangshan distrioct, Beijing.[1]
Project details
- Operator:
- Owner: Sinopec Xinxing Inner Mongolia Green Hydrogen New Energy Co., Ltd.[1]
- Parent company:
- Capacity: 0.1 mtpa[1]
- Length: 400 km[1]
- Diameter:
- Status: Proposed[1]
- Start year:
- Cost:
- Financing:
- Associated infrastructure: Wulanchabu 0.1 mtpa Wind-solar Hydrogen Production Integrated Demonstration Project
Background
The pipeline is a supporting project of the Wulanchabu 0.1 mtpa Wind-solar Hydrogen Production Integrated Demonstration Project. This project is a wind-solar hybrid power generation, which will build 1.742 million kilowatts of wind power, 0.804 million kilowatts of photovoltaic power, a hydrogen production capacity of 0.1 mtpa, and a planned total investment of 20.5 billion yuan. In addition to the wind power hydrogen production integration project, the project will also build a 400-kilometer long-distance hydrogen transmission pipeline to connect the hydrogen production plant in Ulanqab and Yanshan Petrochemical in Beijing, thereby radiating the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei refining and chemical market. This hydrogen pipeline will meet the hydrogen demand in North China and help Sinopec build a national hydrogen energy layout..[2]
