Uzmetkombinat steel plant (Узбекский металлургический комбинат (Russian)), also known as Uzbekistan Metallurgical Plant; Uzbek Metallurgical Plant Uzmetkombinat, is an electric arc furnace (EAF) steel plant operating in Bekobod, Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

Background

By 2026, the plant is expected to increase steel production to 2300 TTPA, due to the construction of a new steelmaking workshop that is ongoing.[1][2][3] OHF units were retired in 2014.[4]
