Victorian Geological Carbon Storage is a government-funded research project to research the potential carbon dioxide storage capacity of the Gippsland Basin. The four-year, $5.2 million project is being undertaken by GeoScience Victoria, a part of the Victorian Department of Primary Industries. The project is scheduled to be completed in June 2012.[1]
