Wardenburg-Werne Gas Pipeline is an existing natural gas pipeline, running from Wardenburg to Werne, Germany.
Location
The pipeline runs from Wardenburg, Niedersachsen, to Werne, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany. It connects with the NETRA Gas Pipeline at Wardenburg; with the Nord–West Anbindungsleitung Gas Pipeline (NOWAL) at Drohne; and with the Werne-Schlüchtern-Rimpar Gas Pipeline and the Werne-Gernsheim Gas Pipeline at Werne.
Background
The 200-km Wardenburg-Drohne-Werne Gas Pipeline was originally built by Ruhrgas AG, which was then taken over by E.ON, and then spun off into Open Grid Europe (OGE).[1]
