Background

The company was ordered to rectify its operations by the Wuzhou City Ecological Environment Bureau in 2022 due to issues such as improper waste disposal and the emission of smoke and dust.^[1]

In 2024, the company plans to upgrade its steelmaking technology and implement capacity replacement initiatives. This will involve constructing one 110-ton BOF and two 55-tonBOF.^[2]
