Xinyu Iron and Steel Group Co Ltd (新余钢铁厂, 新余钢铁集团有限公司, 江西新余钢铁总厂, 新余钢铁有限责任公司), also known as Xinyu Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., Jiangxi Xinyu Iron and Steel General Plant, Xinyu Iron and Steel Plant, is a steel plant in Yushui, Xinyu, Jiangxi, China that operates blast furnace (BF), basic oxygen furnace (BOF), and electric arc furnace (EAF) technology.

Background
The plant's parent company, Jiangxi Foreign Trade Asset Operation Co., Ltd., is 100% owned by Jiangxi Province State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission.
According to the announcement of the capacity replacement plan, the company plans to build a 130-ton electric arc furnace, which is expected to be put into operation in 2024.[1]According to the capacity replacement plan announced on February 10, 2023, the company plans to build two blast furnaces of 2610 cubic meters, which are expected to be put into operation in December 2025.[2]
