Vlora-Fier Gas Pipeline is a proposed gas pipeline running within Albania.

The pipeline is proposed to run between the Trans-Adriatic Gas Pipeline and the Vlora power station.[1]

Background
The pipeline project is also known as the "Trans-Adriatic-Pipeline (TAP) Exit Point to Vlora Thermal Power Plant (TPP) gas pipeline project"[1] and "IAEF - Vlora CCGT Pipeline"[2] When constructed, it will allow natural gas to flow from the TAP to the Vlora thermal power plant in Albania.[5]
The FEED study took place in 2018, permitting between 2018 and 2019, and FID in 2019.[2]
The technical assistance project 'Detailed Design and Tender documents for the Fier – Vlora gas pipeline' was launched in June 2020.[6]
Albgaz, Excelerate and Snam signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the possibilities of cooperation for the construction of the Fier-Vlora pipeline in July 2021.[7]
