La red de gasoductos NTS sirve a los centros de población más grandes de Brasil en los estados de São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro y Minas Gerais, Brasil. Cerca de su extremo occidental en el estado de São Paulo, la red NTS se conecta con el Gasoducto Gasbol en la estación de medición de Guararema; en su extremo oriental en el estado de Río de Janeiro, la red se conecta con el Gasoducto Gasene en la Terminal Cabiúnas de Petrobras.[1]

Operado por NTS (Nova Transportadora do Sudeste S/A), la red de gasoductos NTS sirve a los centros de población más grandes de Brasil en los estados de São Paulo, Río de Janeiro y Minas Gerais, que representan aproximadamente el 50% del consumo de gas natural de Brasil.[2] La red, que comprende los gasoductos GASCAR, GASPAL, GASPAL II, GASBEL, GASBEL II, GASVOL, GASJAP, GASDUC III, GASPAJ, GASTAU, GASAN y GASAN II, se extiende más de 2000 km y abastece a varias centrales eléctricas de gas, incluidas la Central Eléctrica Euzébio Rocha, la Central Eléctrica Baixada Fluminense y la Central Eléctrica Norte Fluminense.[1][2]
