GASFOR Pipeline (also known as the Guamaré-Pecém Gas Pipeline) is an operating bidirectional gas pipeline running from the gas processing center of Guamaré to the Port of Pecém.[1]
Location
The pipeline runs northwest from Guamaré in Rio Grande do Norte state to the Port of Pecém in Ceará state. At Guamaré it intersects with the Nordestão Gas Pipeline.[2]

Expansion Project Name
Since 2015, the construction of an expansion project called GASFOR II intended to bypass a populated area through which the GASFOR pipeline currently runs has been under discussion.[6]
